Ashleigh Maloney

Ashleigh fell in love with dance at an early age. For years she studied tap, jazz, and lyrical, as well as ballet, dancing competitively from the time she was 12 until graduating high school. In college, she was a member of her school’s hip hop team where she continued to follow her passion. After her daughter was born in 2012, Ashleigh decided to commit more time to her fitness and return to dance but found it difficult to find adult classes that would challenge her at the level she has become accustomed to. This is how she discovered barre. With a love of workouts that combine toning and strengthening muscles, she fell in love with barre instantly. In 2016, with the encouragement of Amy Price, Ashleigh took the leap to become a certified barre instructor.

Her favorite aspect of teaching is helping clients achieve long, lean dancers’ muscles that will provide them with strength and confidence in their everyday life. Ashleigh is so thrilled to be back in the studio, teaching and sharing the energy and undeniable results that barre brings. All that tucking, squeezing, upbeat play lists and fabulous clients combined with the passion for dance makes her classes that much more enjoyable. When Ashleigh is not at the barre, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two little ones, Natalia & Jameson.

Jessica pantazelos
Instructor & on-demand instructor

Jessica Pantazelos has loved fitness and being physically active since the time she was three. From watching her mother teaching exercise classes to taking ballet and gymnastic classes herself, she did her best to stay physically active from a young age. Her love of fitness continued throughout the years. Playing basketball and softball to running or strength training, Jessica always found a way to fit fitness and activity into her daily life. Being born into a family that loved fitness, it was hard for her not to love it so much as well.

Throughout college and after college, Jessica always found exercise as an outlet to her crazy life and an opportunity to unwind and focus on herself, and still to this day feels the same. She was always interested in trying new ways to exercise to keep it fun- Zumba classes, kickboxing classes, fitness DVDs, hiking, interval training, etc. It was in the winter of 2013 when Jessica's sister insisted she attend a Barre class with her... thinking this class would be a breeze she agreed to go. She had no idea what she was in for. During this first class Jessica was cursing at the instructor in her head a good amount of the class. Instantly Barre became her new favorite. She loved working those small muscles one would never think of working on their own, and the shaking and [good] pain she'd feel each class was such an amazing feeling that she looked forward to it every time. Within months of taking classes, Jessica realized she'd love to teach Barre someday. In the srping of 2013 Jessica became a certified Barre instructor through the studio in Massachusettes that she used to take classes at. Jessica taught here until spring 2016, when she moved up north to New Hampshire. She searched for a studio close to her new home that she could teach at. After meeting Amy and visiting Barre Chic, she knew she would love to teach here. She was beyond happy to find Barre Chic, and began teaching there in 2017.

Being a stay at home mom to two amazing beautiful daughters, is the best full time job... but can become tiring. Jessica loves how she has the opportunity to get out of the house a few days/nights a week to teach such wonderful and inspiring women at Barre Chic, she finds this is the perfect escape and looks forward to these days all week! The hard work she sees the clients put into every class makes her so happy and even more excited and motivated to keep teaching. Jessica has her certification in Barre, and in the future hopes to get more fitness certifications like in personal training.
